Dr. Lisa Kentgen is a psychologist whose work over the past three decades has included being a clinician, professor and educator, research scientist, and consultant. She has developed mental health programs for children both in New York and abroad. Through her clinical work, she has helped clients of all ages and backgrounds remove obstacles and make deep and lasting changes.
Her research on childhood cognitive development as well as on depression and anxiety have appeared in respected scientific journals. Dr. Kentgen has written for popular online publications and is an ongoing contributor for Thrive Global. Her book, An Intentional Life: Five Foundations of Authenticity and Purpose, was published in June 2018.
In 2019, Lisa left New York City, her home of many years, and moved to the Pacific Northwest. Her focus now is on vibrant communities that teach us healthy belonging by creating models of sustainability, acceptance, and needed change.
